Cursillo teams are made up of laypeople and clergy who organize and lead Cursillo weekends. Their goal is to create a welcoming and spiritually rich environment where participants—referred to as “candidates”—can encounter Christ more deeply, reflect on their faith journey, and be empowered to live out their faith in daily life, especially within their local church and community.

The weekend typically includes worship, talks (called rollos), small group discussions, music, and moments of personal reflection, all designed to build Christian community and encourage faithful action in the world.
